Two options for sharing knowledge resources

There are two options for sharing your knowledge resources: directly upload the resource to the OpenMinTeD platform, or make the resource available for downloading through a URL or FTP site (*).

Option 1 – Uploading the resources

  • Step 1 – Preparing and packaging.
  1. Make sure that your resource follows the interoperability specifications set by OpenMinTeD as described here
  2. Convert the existing metadata record or create a new metadata record compliant with the OMTD-SHARE schema for knowledge resources, as described at here
  3. Package the resource as a zipped file.
  • Step 2 – Registering in OpenMinTeD

You can then visit the OpenMinTeD registry (**) where you can upload and register your knowledge resource as described here:

Option 2 – Providing a link to the resource

  • Step 1 – Preparing and packaging.

  • Step 2 – Registering in OpenMinTeD

You can then visit the OpenMinTeD registry (**) where you can upload and register your knowledge resource as described here:

 

(*) The actual method of delivery will be decided later, during the call, but it will consist of either uploading the file in an ftp server or providing the OpenMinTeD team with a link to the file.
